Mandate |
The Committee establishes and finds the legal basis and compliance of the laws in the legislative procedures with the legal system of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including human rights laws. It also performs authentic interpretation of external norms relating to human rights of individuals and organisations. |

The Committee has six members, elected after general elections, indirectly. |
Working methods |
After being petitioned by individuals and organisations in public session the Committee considers the matter and then delivers the verdict to relevant parties regarding the issue. It can conduct public inquiries. |

All Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina committees are equal and relationships are based on the principles of mutual respect and team coordination. |
